Lawrence Klusa is the Founder and President of SEGES MARKETS Inc. He has over 40 years experience in the Agriculture Industry.  Previous to SEGES MARKETS, Lawrence was the Operations Manager for Agri-Trend/Trimble Grain Marketing Group and a Senior Grain Market Coach which included managing their crop recommendations and write ups.  Lawrence has eighteen years of experience in the grain industry, mostly as a Commodity Futures Trader (10 years) and Quality Control Manager (6 years), assisting the international grain sales group.   Lawrence has spent nearly 20 years working as an Ag-Business Consultant, initially, after graduating from university and most recently with SEGES MARKETS.  Lawrence grew up Farming and spent eight years operating his father's estate lands while completing high school and university.  Lawrence grew up and farmed in Saskatchewan, spent several years living and consulting in Alberta and has lived in Manitoba since 1994.

Lawrence has broad international agriculture industry knowledge combined with hands-on expertise with specific insight into Western Canadian agriculture, farm operations, crop production, grain transportation and crop laboratory services. 

Lawrence has an extensive understanding of agricultural trade, commodity markets and pricing including futures and options trading.  Lawrence has both a strong theoretical and operational background in grain trading and is able to see the big picture to meet bottom line objectives. 

Lawrence is a Professional Agrologist, has an MBA from the University of Calgary, as well as Agriculture and Commerce degrees from the University of Saskatchewan.
